"The Utmost for the Highest"

Robotics to be introduced at Calabar September 2016

Calabar Old Boys continue to contribute to the academic legacy of their institution by having robotics introduced at the school for September 2016. In preparation for its introduction, one of the current Physics teachers at the school Mr. Wayne Thompson was sent to Carnegie Mellon University to do a one week course in robotics. This is part of building the capacity of our teaching staff in meeting that objective.

Through practical exercises, the students will apply concepts of robotics to Medicine, Engineering and Technology.

These efforts form part of the academic thrust currently underway at Calabar. The emphasis with this new venture is on the sciences.

The association publicly acknowledged the Atlanta Chapter and Members of the New York Chapter for making this venture all possible.

More information will become available at the school when the new term begins.
